Our Story
Praxis Care Group’s journey began with a common vision: to make a significant difference in the lives of people in greatest need. Praxis Care Group, founded by two professional nurses who have dedicated their careers to serving others, is more than a service provider; it is a labor of love and compassion.
Our founders spent years watching the hardships of people with disabilities and their families. They witnessed how many NDIS participants struggled to use their package in meaningful ways with their support workers, frequently feeling restricted in their options and unable to fully benefit from the resources offered to them. From navigating complex care systems to feeling alienated and ignored, these obstacles prompted them to build something better—a place where care is more than a service, but a partnership based on respect, trust, and empathy.
Our purpose in every contact is simple: to empower people, cultivate their potential, and help them live satisfying, independent lives. Whether it’s providing personal care, coordinating support, or developing relationships via community events, Praxis Care Group is here to make a difference.

Why We Care
Our work is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves access to high-quality, person-centered care. As nurses, our founders saw the importance of treating each person as an individual—not just addressing their needs but also celebrating their strengths. This philosophy drives everything we do at Praxis Care Group.

Ebony B Gill
Registered Psychiatric Nurse
Hello, my name is Ebony, and I am a registered psychiatric nurse with a Bachelor of Nursing and a Master of Mental Health Nursing. Throughout my career, I have worked in diverse mental health settings, including community, residential and inpatient care, which has given me a well-rounded perspective on supporting individuals with various needs. I am a young, dedicated professional who is deeply passionate about mental health and empowering individuals to embrace their journey without letting their illness define them. I genuinely love what I do—helping people through their mental health challenges, watching their growth and celebrating their progress are the most rewarding parts of my work.
I believe in creating a safe and supportive environment where people feel understood and valued. Known for my empathetic, compassionate and bubbly personality, I love connecting with individuals from all walks of life and tailoring my approach to meet their unique needs. Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with friends, staying active through exercise and appreciating the little joys in life. My goal is to inspire hope, foster resilience and help individuals realise that mental health challenges are just one part of their story, not their entire identity.
